Client – City of Wentzville
Cochran and Gateway Design Studio, Inc. provided design and construction administration services for the City of Wentzville’s 59 acres – Heartland Park development. The project began in July 2013 and was completed in 2015.
Services included project management and oversight of all construction services which include coordination, budget controls, scheduling, administration, construction inspection, value engineering, quality assurance, project records, and material testing coordination, shop drawing submittal review and approvals; RFI’s submittal review and approval.
In addition, Cochran designed a memorial walk-way for the Angel Moms organization. They wanted a peaceful experience at Heartland Park to enjoy the views of the lake and have a quiet moment. The project includes lookouts, memorial pavers, landscaping, waterfall with a feature sculpture, and smaller creeks with additional memorial sculptures throughout. The design was completed in August of 2015. We then assisted in the cost estimate and construction documents. Construction completed in 2017.
