Cochran’s in-house engineering and survey capabilities are ideal for the needs of single and multifamily residential subdivision developments. We have been involved from the very beginning of residential developments by providing the initial survey and geotechnical engineering that becomes the overall foundation for planning the development.
We then continue with the creation of conceptual layouts and a master plan for the site which becomes the basis for the project’s overall civil engineering direction. As part of our engineering for the development, we continue with the design and engineering for grading, water mains, storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater control plans and detention design, roads and sidewalks. If necessary, we facilitate any zoning and/or platting issues with the local municipality and help with local and state approvals and permits.
During the construction phase, we continue to serve our clients by providing construction administration and inspection services, if requested.
