The City of Crystal City is located along the Mississippi River in Jefferson County, approximately 27 miles south of St. Louis, Missouri.
Cochran was selected to improve Bailey Road for the city of Crystal City. The safety enhancements make the streets and sidewalks compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards by adding ramps for accessibility. The area also gets revamped with new lighting, trees and planter boxes plus sidewalks to develop the overall streetscape on Bailey Road for Crystal City.
Our expert team performed the application, surveying, engineering design, bidding documents, and construction inspection services for this federally funded STP streetscape enhancement project on Bailey Road. The project also included the removal of improvements, 1,984 linear feet of concrete vertical curb, 5,666 square feet of concrete approaches and entrances, brick paver accent strip in the sidewalks, decorative street lighting, tree grates, landscape planter boxes, retaining walls with form liners, ADA ramps, 14,925 square feet of sidewalks, concrete vertical curb, 7” thick concrete driveway approaches, decorative street lighting, pavement, asphalt spot wedging, street trees, sodding, landscaping, and pavement striping.
