Cochran performed the design, and bidding documents, surveying, geotechnical investigation and analysis, and performed the construction administration, inspection, and materials testing for this federal aid bridge replacement, bridge no. 09800101, along County Road 256. The project included clearing and grubbing; unclassified excavation; 8,821 cy of embankment in place; 1,464 tons of rock blanket, 336’ of structural steel piles; construction signage; pile point reinforcement; 311 sy of slab on concrete girder; four (4) 115’ long prestressed concrete girders; 250 lf of SL-1 bridge rail, and seeding. This project was federally funded and all construction documents were required to meet standards for project delivery as outlined in MoDOT’s Local Public Agency (LPA) manual.
