Ming Estates

In 1998, Cochran partnered with the developers of Ming Estates to create a distinctive residential community that combines luxury living with thoughtfully planned infrastructure and amenities. Located in Washington, Missouri, the 80-acre development features 72 premium home sites designed to complement the area’s natural landscape and provide an exceptional quality of life for residents.

From the project’s inception, Cochran provided comprehensive engineering services, including conceptual planning, subdivision platting, site design, utility infrastructure, and stormwater management. The development’s stormwater system was carefully designed to collect and convey runoff to two scenic lakes, creating both functional retention facilities and attractive community features.
Cochran also designed the subdivision’s sanitary sewer collection system, on-site treatment facility, and public water system extension, ensuring reliable utility service to support long-term residential growth. Enhancing the neighborhood’s appeal, the community includes a pedestrian trail that winds around the lakes and connects residents to shared park and recreation areas, creating opportunities for outdoor enjoyment and community interaction.
