Planned Developments Engineering Projects Consulting
Cochran’s in-house engineering and survey capabilities are tailored specifically to the complex demands of multi-family complexes, master-planned communities, and large-scale residential subdivisions. We engage from the initial phases of land development, providing the critical surveying and geotechnical engineering that establish the vital technical foundation for comprehensive project planning and site design.

We then continue with the creation of conceptual layouts and a master plan for the site which becomes the basis for the project’s overall civil engineering direction. As part of our engineering for the development, we continue with the design and engineering for grading, water mains, storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater control plans and detention design, roads and sidewalks. If necessary, we facilitate any zoning and/or platting issues with the local municipality and help with local and state approvals and permits.
