Ridge Road Bridge
For years, the Ridge Road Bridge served as an important connection for Sullivan, Missouri, carrying local traffic across the existing crossing as an aging bridge. As the bridge aged, Franklin County identified the need to replace the structure and pursued federal-aid funding to provide a new, long-term solution. The project was developed as a federally funded bridge replacement.
Franklin County partnered with Cochran to take the project from surveying and design through bidding. Cochran provided surveying, structural engineering and preparation of the bidding documents for the replacement bridge. The new structure is a single span bridge utilizing NU35 prestressed concrete girders, selected to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for Franklin County.
