Wolfrum Road Slide Repair

The Wolfrum Road Slide Repair project restored a critical transportation route for the City of Weldon Spring after a significant slope failure threatened the stability of the roadway. By combining geotechnical expertise with practical engineering solutions, Cochran helped the City quickly identify the cause of the failure and implement a long-term repair that restored safe travel while protecting the roadway from future movement.

Cochran performed a comprehensive site investigation that included topographic surveying, detailed field assessments, geotechnical drilling, subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, and slope stability analysis. The investigation identified the underlying soil conditions contributing to the embankment failure and provided the technical foundation for developing an effective, permanent stabilization solution.

Using the results of the geotechnical analysis, Cochran designed a long-term slope stabilization and roadway repair plan that addressed both the visible damage and the underlying causes of the failure.
