Cochran partnered with the City of Herculaneum to deliver the Bonne Terre Railway Memorial Bridge and Riverview Drive, a transformative transportation project that improved connectivity, expanded access, and created new opportunities for future development. Funded through a federal transportation program, the project established a critical new transportation link while enhancing the City’s roadway network with modern infrastructure built for long-term performance.

Cochran provided comprehensive project services, including surveying, engineering design, preparation of bidding documents, construction administration, and construction inspection. Designed in accordance with MoDOT Local Public Agency (LPA) requirements, the project included construction of a new 343-foot prestressed concrete bridge, Riverview Drive, extensive roadway embankments, concrete pavement, street lighting, pavement striping, and complete site restoration.

The scale of the project required significant earthwork, environmental coordination, and careful construction planning to successfully deliver a new transportation corridor across challenging terrain. Through innovative engineering and proactive project management, Cochran helped create durable infrastructure that improves mobility, enhances public safety, and supports future economic growth for the community.
