Wentzville Bluffs

Since 2005,Cochran has been a driving force behind the development of Wentzville Bluffs, a premier commercial destination strategically located at the southwest corner of Interstate 70 and Highway Z in Wentzville, Missouri. As one of the first major developments south of I-70, the project has helped establish a prominent gateway into the City and contributed significantly to the area’s economic growth.

Spanning approximately 27 acres, the multi-phase development transformed a highly visible site into a thriving commercial center featuring a diverse mix of retail, hospitality, fitness, dining, entertainment, and community-serving destinations. Cochran provided comprehensive surveying and civil engineering services throughout the project’s evolution, supporting the development of ten commercial lots and numerous high-profile tenants, including B&B Theaters, Planet Fitness, Hampton Inn, Hotshots, Summit Steakhouse, and other commercial and community facilities.

Our team delivered end-to-end infrastructure solutions, including roadway, water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and grading design, while also coordinating critical transportation improvements along Highway Z in accordance with MoDOT standards. Through careful planning, phased implementation, and long-term collaboration with multiple developers and stakeholders, Cochran helped create a successful commercial corridor that continues to serve residents, visitors, and businesses throughout the rapidly growing Wentzville region.
Completed over a period of nearly 19 years, Wentzville Bluffs showcases Cochran’s ability to guide complex, multi-client developments from initial concept through final buildout, delivering lasting economic and community value.
