MERS Goodwill

Since 2010, Cochran has proudly partnered with MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries to support its mission of “Changing lives through the power of work.” Through the development of new retail locations and the enhancement of existing facilities, our team has helped expand the organization’s ability to generate resources that fund critical employment, training, and rehabilitation programs throughout the region.

Over the course of this long-standing partnership, Cochran has provided comprehensive civil engineering, surveying, geotechnical, and construction materials testing services for more than 38 MERS/Goodwill retail stores and donation centers across Missouri, Illinois, and the Midwest. Our multidisciplinary team has supported projects ranging from facility renovations and site improvements to the development of new retail locations exceeding 15,000 square feet.

Services have included site selection support, conceptual planning, environmental assessments, surveying, geotechnical investigations, permitting, civil site design, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, construction staking, materials testing, and as-built documentation. Facility upgrades have enhanced accessibility, improved traffic flow and parking, expanded donation and loading operations, and modernized existing sites to better serve customers, donors, and employees.

By delivering consistent, reliable engineering solutions across dozens of locations, Cochran has helped MERS Goodwill continue its growth while strengthening the infrastructure that supports its life-changing mission.
