Oasis at Lakeport

Oasis at Lakeport is set to become one of the Lake of the Ozarks’ premier destinations for entertainment, recreation, and hospitality. This $450 million, 25-acre lakefront development will transform a prominent site along Highway 54 and Jeffries Road into a vibrant, year-round resort and entertainment district, creating new opportunities for tourism, economic growth, and family recreation in the region.

The development will feature a 402-room Marriott hotel, a 30,000-square-foot conference center, a 1,000-vehicle parking garage, 200 public boat slips, an indoor water park, restaurants, and a variety of entertainment attractions, including a landmark 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel. Together, these amenities will create a destination that brings visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks for business, leisure, and entertainment.

Cochran is playing a key role in development, providing civil engineering, site design, and land surveying. The project’s lakefront location presented significant engineering challenges, including approximately 80 feet of elevation change across a compact site. To maximize the property’s development potential, Cochran designed and coordinated extensive grading, roadway and utility improvements, and nine retaining walls ranging from 25 to 40 feet in height. These improvements required innovative engineering solutions and careful coordination to accommodate the development’s diverse attractions and infrastructure within the site’s challenging terrain.
