Heritage Community Bank

Cochran partnered with Heritage Community Bank to transform an aging neighborhood shopping center into a modern, highly visible commercial destination. Working closely with the owner and contractor through a collaborative design-build process, our team helped reimagine the more than 40-year-old property, creating a refreshed identity that enhances its presence along one of the area’s busiest corridors.

The renovation centered on the new anchor tenant, Heritage Community Bank, while elevating the appearance of the entire shopping center. The redesigned façade features contemporary materials, updated architectural details, and a modern color palette that significantly improves curb appeal and visibility from the adjacent highway, attracting new attention to the property and supporting future tenant success.

Cochran provided architectural support and detailed building surveys to evaluate the existing structure and ensure the new façade system was properly engineered and integrated with the original building. By installing a new exterior skin over the existing metal façade and revitalizing the existing masonry with updated finishes, the project achieved a dramatic transformation while maximizing the value of the existing structure.

Unique/Challenges to site or project: The owner’s wanted to give as much height as they could out of their new façade. This required a thorough survey of the existing building and structure. Working with our structural engineers, we completed a model of the existing structure, proposed new structure, and the newly designed façade. Compiling this comprehensive model we were able to adjust any conflicts before it came to construction. This also gave the owner a full picture of their new complex. Cochran services included preliminary rendering, 3d modeling, Architecture, and BIM.
