The Shoppes at Eagles’ Landing

Cochran partnered with the developer of The Shoppes at Eagles’ Landing to help create one of the Lake of the Ozarks region’s premier retail destinations. Located on 150 acres along Missouri Route 54 Bypass in Lake Ozark, the development has become a major commercial hub, attracting national retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues while supporting continued economic growth in the region.

Providing comprehensive civil engineering, surveying, and geotechnical services, Cochran guided the project from master planning through site development. Our multidisciplinary team designed the roadway network, site access, utility infrastructure, and extensive grading necessary to transform a challenging site into a successful mixed-use retail center.

The project required innovative engineering solutions to overcome significant topographic and geotechnical challenges, including cuts and fills exceeding 100 feet, settlement concerns associated with deep embankments, highly plastic soils, uncontrolled fill materials, and extensive rock excavation. Through careful planning and integrated engineering, Cochran developed practical, cost-effective solutions that prepared the site for long-term commercial development.

Today, The Shoppes at Eagles’ Landing is home to a diverse mix of nationally recognized retailers and entertainment destinations, including Kohl’s, Menards, CVS Pharmacy, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Eagles’ Landing 8 Cinema.
